USGBC’s LEED® (2009) www.usgbc.org  Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is the U.S. Green Building Council’s Green Building Rating System, a voluntary certification program for sustainable buildings. LEED Version 3 gives credit for a cool roof under Sustainable Sites Credit 7.2: Heat Island Effect: Roof.
